The Armillary - 1h long film in Dome format -

As the Director of The Armillary’s immersive dome film at SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, I led the creative direction of a one-hour visual journey projected onto one of the largest domes in the world.

Serving as a central hub within the park, The Armillary brings together ambient visuals and educational short stories about the oceans, blending live-action footage, stylized Unreal Engine environments, and painterly, whimsical scenes. I shaped the pacing, flow, and artistic tone of the film, ensuring both scientific accuracy and emotional resonance. The result is a rich, layered experience that captivates audiences of all ages, inviting wonder, reflection, and a deeper appreciation for our oceans.

The project was both a technical challenge and a creative adventure, made possible by the incredible collaboration with motion artist Joseph Fiola and the animation team at ED Films.
